Born and raised in Westchester, New York, Lesly is a first generation Guatemalan American. She earned a BA in history and Latin American studies from Fordham University. Lesly previously taught at the LAC Preschool in Larchmont, where she helped prepare students for kindergarten. She looks forward to working with first graders and broadening her knowledge of early childhood education. Lesly aims to cultivate a warm and welcoming learning environment for all of her students. When she is not in the classroom, Lesly enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, staying active, and watching docuseries. She is excited to start the new school year and be a member of the Trinity community.
