Audio Visual Manager, Performing Arts Department
BM New York University
2022-present
Mark began his career in music at an early age playing the drums. After graduating from New York University with a degree in music technology, he became the head recording engineer for the Knitting Factory in New York City. In addition to Mark’s work as an audio engineer, he also taught advanced audio recording techniques at New York University. In 2005 Mark became a Blue Man in the Blue Man Group (ask him the story sometime). He has performed with Blue Man Group in theaters, arenas, and stadiums around the world as well as on live television, albums, and the concert video Blue Man Group, How to Be a Megastar: Live! After seventeen years, over 3,000 shows, and too much time away from home and his family, Mark decided to leave the stage and return to his audio visual career. In his spare time, Mark works on restoring his old house in Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York, plays drums, and occasionally jumps back up on stage with Blue Man Group. Fun fact about Mark: he was an answer on the game show Jeopardy! He is thrilled to join the Trinity community.
