Originally from Los Angeles, Michelle joins Trinity after completing an MFA with a concentration in children’s literature and adult fiction from The New School. She received her BA from Colgate University, graduating summa cum laude with a double major in English and Spanish. At Colgate, Michelle served as team captain and was a four-year Division I volleyball player. In her free time, she continues to play volleyball in a local league, while reading copious young adult novels and working on a young adult manuscript of her own. After a nine-year career in corporate strategy and marketing, and two years as a WriteOn NYC teaching fellow at The New School, Michelle is excited to transition to full-time teaching. In 2025 she will graduate with an MA in childhood education and special education from New York University.
